Big Bear Airport Runway 8
We did a burger run up to Big Bear. My families first time flying there. Runway 8 was in use, so it was my first time flying final over a lake, fun! Probably no big deal around many parts of the country, but not common around Socal. I used the arrival procedures on the Big Bear Airport website which calls for staying south of the airport, then joining the right downwind for runway 8. We were flying into the sun all the way back, which always happens when I go to these Easterly airports, but at least it made for a beautiful sunset on the last 10 minutes of the flight.
